Overview
Elevated conveyor galleries, transfer towers and support trestles connecting the crusher, stockpile and kiln feed at an operating cement plant.
Galleries spanned up to 46 metres between trestles and were lifted into place in complete sections to reduce work at height. Abrasion-resistant liners were fitted to transfer chutes during shop assembly rather than on site.
All works were carried out around continuous plant operation, with lifts scheduled into planned maintenance windows.
